Meet Our Captain
Captain Traase Lear
Traase has a varied background with over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry and holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. He flies locally as a corporate pilot in the Cessna Citation CJ. As needs arise, Traase can be found assisting various flight departments as a contract pilot in Cessna Citation business jets. For over a decade he has been a part of the Wildland Firefighting effort as an Air Attack Pilot flying US Forest Service personnel around wildfires in order to coordinate the aerial firefighting effort. Traase has worked for Part 135 Air Carriers transporting both passengers and cargo throughout the United States year round. Also, Traase is a certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization, Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor, Multi Engine Instructor, Advanced Ground Instructor, Aircraft Dispatcher, and Remote Pilot.
